über mich - about me - chi sono

Nachdem ich 10 Jahre lang in meinem Traumberuf als Reiseverkehrskauffrau in Deutschland gearbeitet habe, bin ich im Jahre 1992 in mein Traumland Italien und meine Traumstadt Rom gezogen.

Mittlerweile lebe ich in der Emilia Romagna an der Adriaküste in der Nähe von Rimini und habe mein Arbeitsfeld auf technische Übersetzungen und Handelskorrespondenz für Übersetzeragenturen, italienische Firmen, die mit deutschsprachigen Kunden zusammenarbeiten sowie Deutsch-Unterricht für Italiener erweitert.

After 10 years working in Germany as a travel agent I moved  in the 1992 to Rome, where I learnt more about wine and his world. I've found the right combination of life and work!

Now I'm living in the Emilia Romagna at the Adriacoast near Rimini and amplified my working environment by technical translations and commercial correspondence for translation agencies, italian companies who works with german speaking clients and teaching of the german language for italians.

Nel frattempo mi sono trasferita nella Emilia Romagna alla costa adriatica vicino Rimini e ho allargato il mio campo lavorativo facendo traduzioni tecniche e corrispondenza commerciale per agenzie di traduzioni, aziende italiane che lavorano con l'estero e scuole insegnando il tedesco

25 jährige Berufserfahrung in der Touristikbranche, wo ich fast täglich Reiseprogramme, Land- und Stadtbeschreibungen sowie allgemeine Korrispondenz in deutscher, englischer und italienischer Sprache verfasst habe.

Seit 5 Jahren ist noch die Wein- und Gourmetbranche hinzugekommen sowie technische Übersetzung aus dem Maschinenbau.

Ich übersetze Webseiten aus der Touristikbranche wie Hotels, Restaurants, Fluggesellschaften, Reisebüros, Vereine, Reiseveranstalter sowie Weinkellereien und alles, was mit der Touristikbranche und der Gastronomie zutun hat; ich bin auf Korrekturlesen und Revision spezialisiert.

I have 25 years experience in the tourist sector, where I translate nearly daily travel programmes, descriptions of countries and cities and general corrispondence.

5 years ago I added the gastronomic and wine branche as well as the engineering sector.

I translate preferencely websites and everthing having to do with travelling and I'm specialist in proofreading, copyreading and revision - only orthographic errors - for the english language
